About SOVRIN

Sovrin, based in Anglesey, North Wales, specialise in the delivery of high quality first aid training and health and safety training to all levels of business and industry, education establishments, community groups and the public.

As a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health training centre we are able to deliver CIEH qualifications, which are highly regarded by businesses throughout the UK and recognised by employers as the bench mark in safety training. CIEH qualifications are supported by rigorous quality assurance procedures and are accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority, as well as addressing specific sector needs with the input of the Sector Skills Council.

Approval by the Health and Safety Executive, to carry out first aid training for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, means we undergo regular inspection by external monitors to ensure that our training and procedures are correct and up to date, and that our trainers and course assessors are suitably qualified and capable of delivering training to the highest of standards.

We are able to meet all first aid training requirements, from training, assessment, and certification through to eventual requalification. All courses may be conducted “on site” or at suitable external venues. Regularly run external courses facilitate the training of individuals and representatives of smaller organisations/businesses.

Our trainers have been selected on their ability as trainers, having many years experience and are all specialists within their own fields. Courses can be delivered through the medium of Welsh or English, by either male or female trainers of all age groups. All of our staff are qualified to train and assess students, we also have a limited number of staff who are qualified to train and assess trainers, although they are primarily use for the purposes of quality control. Trainers who have been “checked” by the Criminal Records Bureau will be used for instruction where appropriate.
