Appointed Persons
The course is designed to teach students the requirements of an “Appointed Person” as per the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and does not include first aid training.
Students are also taught the responsibilities of an appointed person, including maintenance of first aid equipment, such as first aid kits etc, summoning medical assistance, completing accident reports, maintaining accident records and an introduction to health and safety regulations in the workplace.
